It carries the stories of people. 🏛️ In Syria, UNESCO is supporting the inventory, digitization, preservation, and restoration of more than 350 objects at the National Museum of Aleppo—equipping a new generation of heritage professionals with the skills to safeguard their country's history. Delivered by UNESCO, the University of Florence, and Syria's Directorate-General of Antiquities and Museums (DGAM), with the support of the Government of Italy, this hands-on programme is helping ensure that Syria's heritage remains protected for generations to come.
