The ocean sustains life on Earth. Protecting it starts with understanding it. Since 2019, SEA BEYOND, the project by prada Group conducted in partnership with UNESCO, has helped more than 38,000 students develop a deeper understanding of the ocean and its vital role in our lives—far exceeding its initial target of 10,000 learners. Implemented by unesco_venice and ioc_unesco , the initiative has grown into a global model for Ocean Literacy. Today, nearly 8,000 schools in 72 countries are part of the Global Blue School Network, helping young people connect knowledge with action.
