It’s about allowing ourselves to feel what already hurts: the suffering of our people, our distance from Hashem, and the countless Jews who no longer know what it means to be Jewish. But Jewish pain is never meant to leave us paralyzed. It must awaken longing, responsibility, and the courage to rebuild. In 2025, terrorists targeted Jews on Yom Kippur, Hanukkah, and Passover. The victims came from different countries, backgrounds, and levels of observance. Yet after each attack, survivors shared the same message: Celebrate Jewish life.
