In 1967, THIRTEEN's Creative Person explored Guthrie's acclaimed career, from his early days in England at the Old Vic — a historic theater in London — to his work in North America. He focused on Shakespeare and classics as founding director of the Tyrone Guthrie Repertory Theater in Minneapolis and founding artistic director of the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada.
