Meet adoptable Bruler, a 2 year old, 51 lb Poodle / Labrador mix-ish boy and big scruffy sweetie who is settling into foster life and getting sweeter by the day. Bruler has been very comfortable meeting new people. He met a neighbor and her two kids, ages 9 and 12, and was gentle taking treats from their hands, happy to receive pets, and even leaned right into his new friend’s leg. He loves affection, but he is not pushy about it. He will politely stand nearby and wait for you to offer, which is honestly very charming. At home, Bruler is affectionate and playful, and he has been sleeping through the night in his crate. He is also doing really well with his potty routine and has been very consistent about using the grassy patch near his foster’s apartment when he goes out. Bruler is still figuring out some city-dog basics, like stairs and neighborhood walks, but he is making progress with treats and encouragement.
