Meet adoptable Colonel, a 3 year old, 11 lb Shih Tzu-ish mix who looks a little weird, and honestly, it perfectly describes who he is as a doggie (in the best way possible, of course!). Colonel likes to take a minute to decide you are his friend, but once he does, you are in. He is pocket sized and definitely wants to go where you go once he knows you. Post-bath zoomies are also apparently a regular part of the Colonel experience (see video), which feels important to mention. Colonel is good with dogs too, though he is not exactly an instant bestie kind of guy. He prefers to size everyone up first and make sure nobody, oddly enough, looks or smells weird before he joins the party. Colonel is looking for an adult home where he can settle in at his own pace and let his people earn their place in his inner circle.
