What does it look like to bring justice and action into real classroom practice?
The goals of identity and diversity often feel easier to reach for in our classrooms. But justice and action ask something deeper of us. They ask us to help children name unfairness, hold hard truths, and discover their own agency. And when we do, joy, courage, and meaningful learning can grow side by side.
I believe the #SocialJusticeStandards invite us into teaching that moves beyond theory and into practice.
If this vision resonates with your school or educational community, I’d love to work with you. I offer workshops and learning experiences designed to help educators explore art, agency, student voice, and equity-centered practice in meaningful, actionable ways.
