Speechless. Words can’t even describe what these photos mean to me. First off, my only constant in these photos is my family always showed up. They have been on this journey with me since day 1 and have never left my side. I wouldn’t change this ride with any other solid group of 4 🤍 The second photo marks the first professional baseball team (Sonoma Stompers) I had ever played for. To my 2nd professional team (Staten Island FerryHawks), 3rd (Oakland Ballers), lastly (Savannah Bananas). I was 17 years old when I first signed my first ever professional baseball contract. I only played with and against men majority of my career. People told me to play softball because I don’t belong in baseball, people looked at me crazy, people crossed my boundaries, people overstepped me, people put me down, people shot me down before taking a chance, people used me for wrong intentions, people told me I would never be able to make a career out of this game.
