Life's challenges can often shape our path in the most profound ways. For MaKenzi, it was the tough experience of witnessing her mom's battle with stage 4 colon cancer that ignited her journey toward integrative health.
"I decided to become an integrative health practitioner after watching my mom pass away from stage 4 colon cancer. It truly was the worst two years of my life and something I knew I never wanted to face again for myself or my family.
I started focusing on all my symptoms and health from a functional perspective and started getting answers. I found out I had a ton of gut health problems that needed to be addressed.
Once I got on my functional health journey and started taking control of my health I decided I couldn't wait to help others do the same.
