Replacing the leadership and production of Sam Hoiberg and Jamarques Lawrence became one of Nebraska's top priorities this offseason. The Huskers believe they found their new floor general in Utah Valley transfer Trevan Leonhardt. Leonhardt arrives in Lincoln after averaging 11.9 points, 6.0 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game last season while earning First Team All-WAC and WAC All-Defensive Team honors. His ability to create for others has already made an impression during summer workouts. "He's an elite passer," Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg said. Teammate Sam Orme has noticed it as well.
