Elvis Brooks spent 42 years in prison for a murder he says he never committed.
He was arrested at 19 with no physical evidence tying him to the crime. Decades later, DNA evidence cleared his name and his conviction was thrown out. Now Louisiana's Attorney General is fighting to block his $480,000 compensation claim, arguing he's still guilty.
He's one of 23 people this same attorney general has blocked from compensation in the past two years.
"They got me wrong," Brooks says. "I'm not giving up."
