In 2023, Nebraska was just a pit stop on a road trip for Meredith and her family. But that quick stop for food changed the trajectory of her future. “I ended up falling in love with the forensic science program and then falling in love with the university when I toured. The school spirit is amazing, and now I couldn't be happier that I'm here!” Now a senior, she is dedicated to helping others make Nebraska their home in her work as a Resident Assistant. “My RA my first year made me feel so welcomed on campus, especially as an out-of-state student, and I just really strive to do that for others, too. Having someone encourage community on our floor and helping us connect with other students and make friends made me feel so comfortable from the start.
