Some missions are bigger than distance.
Meidinliu Newmai, a 50-year-old ASHA worker from Manipur’s Tamenglong district, walked 28 km through dense forests, difficult terrain and across five rivers carrying a polio vaccine carrier. Her mission: ensure 17 children in a remote village received their polio drops.
Her journey is a reminder that healthcare reaches far beyond hospitals and roads. Sometimes, it reaches a child because someone is willing to walk the extra mile. ❤️
