Jharkhand’s JPSC exam row has taken a major turn. The state government has agreed to cancel three examinations — the 14th JPSC Combined Civil Services Examination, the 2023 Backlog Examination and the 2025 Backlog Examination — following protests by exam aspirants.
The development comes alongside the resignation of all three JPSC members, which was accepted by the Governor. CM Hemant Soren also assured protesting students that their concerns would be addressed with justice and transparency.
The decision is being seen as a major response to the demands of JPSC aspirants, though protests over other demands are expected to continue.
