On July 24, teens from Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo came together at Daniels Park for a day of learning, stewardship, and connection as part of our Great Plains grassland restoration efforts. Guided by DZCA's Field Conservation team, participants rolled up their sleeves to contribute to restoration work, learned about the vital role of bison in maintaining healthy grasslands, explored conservation career pathways, and connected with peers who share a passion for protecting wildlife and wild places. By creating opportunities for young people to learn alongside conservation professionals, and one another, we are helping build the relationships, skills, and inspiration that will shape the future of conservation.
