Many of you had a chance to listen in on my chat with Miyoko (miyokoschinner) at this year’s Vegan Women Summit. But I actually had an opportunity to meet and talk with Miyoko for a much more in-depth conversation. For those of you who don’t know Miyoko, she is the Creator and Founder of Miyoko’s Creamery, a company that distributes non-dairy butter and cheeses. Believe it or not, she was in her 50s when she started her multi-million dollar business, proving, once more, that you’re never too old to start a new chapter in your life. . But one thing that Miyoko says in our discussion is that “you’re never too young to know Justice.” And this sense of what is Just and Right and True—capitalized—permeates our conversation, even as she takes us through some of the lesser known aspects of her story.
