Penn State has partnered with the Crisis Text Line to offer an alternative way to access crisis intervention services, providing FREE 24/7 support through text messaging. Crisis Counselors in this service are volunteers who are trained to actively listen and help you find a moment of calm and establish a plan for improved well-being. To connect with a live Crisis Counselor, simply text "LIONS" to 741741. A counselor will respond promptly to assist in managing the crisis at hand.
