"I transferred from a college of about 7,000 students," Maddy said. "Penn State Fayette is more hands-on than where I transferred from. It's more one-on-one. If you don't understand something, the professors are there to help. It's really nice to have that close-knit community compared to a huge crowd." Maddy had been taught differently at her previous university, and is grateful for professors like Stacy Sekely. "I've had a lot of meetings with her, and she's helped me through being a transfer student."
