🔔 🎶 Many appreciate the beauty of our carillon tower, but did you know it was dedicated in 2005 to celebrate Penn State Fayette's 40th anniversary? Its 19 bells were cast in France and combined with electronic technology in the United States. The $180,000 project was funded by donors, each contributing $10,000 to purchase a bell. Their names are engraved on the bells, and plaques around the tower’s base honor their generosity. Gregory Gray, who served as chief executive officer and chancellor of Penn State Fayette from 1998 to 2006, envisioned the tower as a feature that would help solidify the school’s unique identity. 🦁 Admire its beauty up close next time you visit our campus!
