I’ve been praying differently lately. ❤️ Instead of spending so much of my prayer worrying about yesterday or asking God to work everything out tomorrow, I’ve been asking Him what I need for TODAY. Help me hear the Holy Ghost today.
Help me follow the prompting today.
Help me love the people in front of me today. And I’ve started doing the same when I pray for the people I love. Instead of praying that my child has a great season, I pray that they work hard at practice today. Instead of praying that they do well on Friday’s test, I pray that they make time to study today. Because maybe part of trusting God is trusting the process. ❤️ Trusting that the little things He asks us to do today are preparing us for whatever tomorrow holds. Christ has already paid for the past.
