Never underestimate Harry Potter fans 😂⁠ ⁠ They apparently managed to get a £430 million undersea power cable rerouted to avoid Dobby’s ‘grave’.⁠ ⁠ The Greenlink interconnector, which links the UK and Ireland, was originally planned to pass through part of Freshwater West beach in Pembrokeshire, where Dobby was buried in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.⁠ ⁠ Project manager Simon Ludlam said the company received “hundreds of calls” after fans realised where the cable was due to run, prompting planners to find an alternative route.⁠ ⁠ “We went quite close to some real Bronze Age remains, but we avoided Dobby’s grave,” Ludlam said.⁠ ⁠ The site isn’t an actual grave, but fans have visited the beach for years and left stones reading “Here Lies Dobby”.⁠ ⁠ #Dobby #HarryPotter #LADbible
