If you're a man who wants to lead other men, you have to understand something: You don't lead men by telling them what to do. You lead by example. It's easy to talk about discipline when the cameras are on. It's easy to talk about integrity when people are watching. It's easy to present yourself as strong, grounded, disciplined, conscious, or successful. But who are you when nobody is watching? How do you treat people when there's nothing to gain? How do you handle adversity? Do you actually live by the principles you're teaching? Because men don't need another performance. They need examples. If you're going to tell other men how they should live, you better be willing to let your own life be the evidence. Don't just present the man you want people to believe you are. Become that man.
