The Trump Administration recommends that state health agencies reduce the number of childhood vaccines and separate the doses of commonly combined immunizations, according to an executive order released Aug. 10. The order changes the recommended vaccines for all children and advises that commonly combined vaccinations, including the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine, be administered in three separate single-disease shots at separate medical appointments.
