Bath day for Freckles & Pippi. 🤍 Both blind. Both bonded. And for all we know, this may have been their very first bath ever. As I washed them, I couldn’t help but think… maybe we’re not just washing their bodies. Maybe we’re washing away a little bit of the past, too. They’ve been through more than they ever should have had to endure, yet they stood there and trusted us. That kind of trust humbles me. From here on out, they don’t have to be afraid.
