Canada really does have some incredible road trips. 😍 And the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton is definitely one that deserves a spot on your list. The Cabot Trail is roughly 300 km, looping around the northern part of Cape Breton Island. You could drive it in about 5-6 hours without stopping, but honestly, why would you? Give yourself 2-4 days to really enjoy it, because there are so many places worth stopping along the way - Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Skyline Trail, Pleasant Bay, Ingonish, Middle Head, and countless coastal viewpoints. The scenery changes constantly - mountains, forests, cliffs, ocean views and winding roads. And this was one of those drives where we kept wanting to stop and take it all in.
