Mixed emotions but I can absolutely say I’m proud of myself. I’m only taking the positives away from this and I don’t think there was anybody in the field who’s made it this far in the season with this little experience hurdling as me. If so I would love to hear and share our journey but this is just a testament that you can do anything you put your mind to. This is NOT my goodbye post but I came to Campbell University as a Jumper and leaving as a Hurdler. All I did was to step out my comfort zone and asked “Can I try hurdles?” Thank you Coach Givens for taking a chance with me and discovering how gifted and talented I truly am. I wanted to hurdle since high school and never really got the chance to. I didn’t advance but I’m celebrating my little wins knowing I still have lots of potential💯
