The UC Student Association elected its new president Aug. 1, UC Davis rising senior Candice Phan, who will represent student voices to the UC and lead the organization’s student advocacy. UCSA is a coalition of student advocates and campus governments, representing more than 230,000 undergraduates across the UC system. UCSA advocates for students, influencing the state legislature and pressuring the UC Board of Regents. Phan was elected after serving as the organization’s government relations chair.
