There’s a black owned food truck mrstatis_ in Grand Prairie TX that has seafood buckets so we had to pull up and check them out. Their seafood buckets come with a fried Lobster tail, catfish, shrimp, fries & pepper. They have some different options to try like pasta, wings, catfish basket and seafood boils. Personally, we liked the salmon Alfredo over the jerk chicken pasta. While the salmon Alfredo was nice and flavorful, the jerk chicken pasta didn’t really taste like jerk at all. For the seafood bucket, everything was fried nicely and the best part was definitely the catfish. Everything was well seasoned as well. When you pull up to this spot, definitely make sure you get there early as they will sell out. Everything is made fresh to order so keep that in mind as well.
