There’s an Irish tavern gillespiestaverntx in the heart of Richardson TX that serves Irish food with a Texas twist. This spot has happy hour specials during the week and various theme nights that include trivia night on Wednesdays, karaoke night on Thursdays. They have live music you can enjoy some nights as well. Scotch eggs Fish & chips Reuben sandwich Shepherd’s pie Irish cheesecake Fried Oreos We started things off with the Scotch eggs as an appetizer. They were alright, however the egg in the center was more soft boiled so it wasn’t our favorite. The fish and chips were pretty good and were fried hard. We’d recommend adding hot sauce for more flavor. The Reuben sandwich was definitely the star of the show and something we’ve never tried before. The meat was cooked perfectly and we’d absolutely recommend. They also have some really good desserts like their Irish cheesecake and fried Oreos.
