Why is it an unpopular opinion to say that animals shouldn’t be enslaved, exploited, or tortured? People would agree if it was just dogs or cats - but I’m talking about ALL animals. Why abuse one but treat the other like family? I truly believe everyone is born vegan/vegan in their hearts because what baby or kid wants to eat or kill an animal if they knew they were eating one? Society has lied to us growing up thinking that we need animal products to survive but actually, we don’t. Plants have everything we need. Plus, where do you think the animals get their nutrients? Plants. So why not cut out the middleman and go straight to the source? It’ll save a lot of animals + decreased chances of health issues.
