Shea Flannery, the daughter of #UOAlumni Kevin Flannery, BA ’12 (business administration), and Sophia Flannery, BA ’14 (art history), beat childhood leukemia in March 2026, but she didn't beat it alone. Along with her family, she was supported by physician assistant Drew Sachwitz, BS ’13 (human physiology), and her preschool teacher Jaycie Kimball, BA ’21 (psychology).
