Lower Allston is turning into one giant cat-spotting expedition this September. The lowerallstoncatstroll is happening September 19, inviting people on a free, parade-style walk through the neighborhood to find cats posted up in windows and on porches along the way. The stroll is also designed to get neighbors exploring Lower Allston, discovering local businesses and meeting the people, and apparently cats, who live around them. And if you live in the neighborhood and have a cat who deserves their moment in the window, cat registration is open now. The event is free, with a rain date scheduled for September 26.
