Not every problem needs another three hours of your time. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do when you’re stuck is stop trying to force the answer. Walk away. Rest. Sleep on it. Give your mind some space. Then come back tomorrow. Because we’ve all had that experience: you wrestle with something for hours and get nowhere… only to wake up the next morning and suddenly think: “Oh. THAT’S the answer.” 😂 There’s an important lesson in that. More time doesn’t always produce better thinking. Sometimes exhaustion actually makes the solution harder to see. Part of self-leadership is recognizing when continued effort is productive—and when you’re simply trying to overpower a problem with more hours. You don’t always need to push harder. Sometimes you need to trust yourself enough to put the problem down. Recover. Come back with fresh energy and a different perspective. And you might discover the answer was never another three hours away. It was one good night’s slee...
