UPDATE on the Yonex Percept 100L (280g)… It needs more weight. It’s amazing on serve, surprisingly, but the lightness makes it really unstable during rallies. Hard to hit winners too. As a test, I added 9 grams to the handle, 4.5 grams to the throat, and 6 grams to the head at 3 and 9. Also went with a thicker gauge string and a shock absorber to beef it up even more. Total weight is now 325 grams. Trying to keep that same magical serve while adding stability and plow through. Feel like this racquet could be very special if I get the specs dialed in.
