Warner Bros. has allegedly made more than six offers to reunite #GretaGerwig, #MargotRobbie and #RyanGosling, but all have been rejected. If a deal isn’t reached within the next four months, the rights could revert to #Mattel. However, Mattel would reportedly be unable to build on the foundation established by Gerwig’s blockbuster film, meaning any future ‘Barbie’ franchise would essentially have to start over with a reboot.
