⭐ It is another #HallOfFameFriday as we continue our countdown to the 2022 Gryphon Hall of Fame banquet, which is set to take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022! (link in bio for 🎟️ & details!)⁠ ⁠ This week’s Hall of Fame spotlight is on swimmer, Scott Van Doormaal! 🏊‍♂️⁠ ⁠ Scott collected an incredible 1️⃣3️⃣ OUA medals during his Gryphon swimming career (2005-06 to 2009-10), including 9️⃣ OUA gold medals! 🥇⁠ ⁠ He also reached the podium at the national level on four occasions, highlighted by a silver 🥈 during his unforgettable sophomore season in 2006-07, where he was named uofguelph Athlete of the Year, as well as ouasport Swimmer of the Year (the only male Gryphon swimmer, to this day, to earn “OUA Swimmer of the Year” honours). ⁠ ⁠ Link in bio for more details!⁠ ⁠⁠ #GryphonPride #GryphonSwimming #UofG #GryphonHallofFame #Guelph #GoGryphs #UofGAlumni⁠
