At 91 years old, Marlys Handberg is showing no signs of slowing down. The Minnesota nurse began her career in 1957 and was forced to retire in 1994 because of hospital closures — but she never really stopped working. Today, Handberg volunteers with the American Red Cross and teaches direct support professionals how to safely administer medication and respond to emergencies.
