In 2019, millions of people watched me and my family on Rich House, Poor House. From the outside, it probably looked like my life and business were going from strength to strength. But what nobody knew was that the same year the programme aired, my marriage ended—and my entire life began to unravel. The divorce was messy. I had to sell the house I had worked so hard for, downsize and adjust to a completely different way of living. My mental health deteriorated, I began using alcohol to cope, I walked away from my business and everything I had built started going downhill.
