Thursday saw the highest voter turnout for an August election in Hamilton County in a decade, according to election data. Over 65,000 ballots were cast in Thursday's election, far surpassing the 36,636 ballots cast in the previous August election of 2024, data from the Hamilton County Election Commission shows. Turnout was higher for Thursday's election despite there being fewer registered voters for this year compared to prior August elections in 2020, 2022 and 2024.
