After 3 long years, we’re finally reaching the end of the start—getting permits approved for our historic West Village brownstone project on Bank Street! When I first moved to NYC in the mid 80’s right out of college, the police buzzed and whispered “police let us in” so I did. I opened my door on 3rd floor, guns drawn “ where do you live” I said “here!” ”Get in your apartment!“ There was a cat burglar on my roof and he got away, or she … there were cat burglars in the 80’s, not so much now with cameras everywhere.
