This is a real letter from a real USSSA athlete. Kash was just a kid on a T-ball team when his dad’s health started failing. Swollen legs. Some days he could barely walk. But he never missed a game. Two years later, his dad needed a kidney transplant. Chemo. Dialysis. A Thanksgiving day pass from the hospital, just to be with his family for a few hours. Kash’s mom turned out to be the match.
