Okay, so maybe we’re being a little dramatic… We’re just really excited!! What started as a very small idea has become real and exceeded our wildest expectations. While this may not “officially” be a tiny house (less than 500 sf), our design intentionally responded to the beautiful site with a small footprint and the constraints that came with it. The progress in just the last few weeks has been incredible. Our walls, rough openings, rafters, outriggers, and roof sheathing have all been constructed. We just passed the 3-month mark of construction and are on pace to wrap everything up by the end of the year. In this video, we walk through the last steps of framing and give a preview of the spaces that make up the Ground + Sky House. Next, our windows and doors will arrive, and then we’ll be able to dry in and officially weatherproof the build!
