Our most exciting update yet… we are framing at Ground + Sky House!! After months of planning, excavation, concrete work, waterproofing, and backfilling, we’re finally starting to see the house take shape above the ground. In this video we walk through the first stages of framing, including the floor structure, the cantilevered portion of the living area, and the exterior walls that are already beginning to define the spaces within. One of the most exciting parts of this phase is seeing the relationship between the house and the landscape come to life. The cantilever that has existed only in drawings and renderings for so long is now becoming a real part of the landscape, and every day brings noticeable progress. @kipconstruction is keeping the momentum going and bringing the house to life with a thorough attention to detail; intentional framing now means beautiful finish conditions later.
