It's the first #WeAreCCSD Wednesday of the 2026-2027 school year! Today, we are highlighting Alyssa Dorfman, a School Counselor at Louis Wiener Elementary School. Alyssa consistently goes above and beyond to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our students. They are a caring, compassionate, and trusted presence who makes every student feel seen, heard, valued, and supported. Whether a student needs someone to talk to, encouragement during a difficult moment, or guidance navigating a challenge, they are always willing to step in and help. What makes this counselor truly exceptional is their willingness to do whatever it takes to help a child succeed. They celebrate student successes, advocate for those who need additional support, and consistently look for ways to make our school a more welcoming and caring place.
