🚨 FIRST-TIME HEAD COACHES 🚨 Next up in our series: Nate Bell — Long Island University 🦈⚽️ For Bell, this opportunity marks a return to LIU, where he previously served as lead assistant from 2014–17 and helped the Sharks capture the 2015 NEC Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. Most recently, Bell led Brooklyn College to its first regular-season championship in 44 years, earning 2025 CUNYAC Coach of the Year honors while coaching both the conference Player and Rookie of the Year. His impact extends well beyond the college game. Bell founded Brooklyn United Academy, growing the program from just seven players in 2012 to more than 3,000 players competing at the MLS NEXT level. His experience also includes time with the New York Red Bulls youth academy and Dinamo Zagreb. Now, he returns to LIU — this time to lead the program.
