🚨 FIRST-TIME HEAD COACHES 🚨 Next up in our series: Jonathan Lagos — Gardner-Webb University 🐶⚽️ Lagos takes over the Runnin’ Bulldogs after nine years of Division I coaching experience, most recently helping build UNC Greensboro into a nationally competitive program. During his time with the Spartans, UNCG captured the 2022 SoCon Tournament Championship, reached the NCAA Elite Eight, added two SoCon regular-season titles and returned to the Sweet 16 in 2025. Before UNCG, Lagos was part of a highly successful Wake Forest staff that reached the 2019 College Cup, produced numerous professional players and brought in some of the nation’s top-ranked recruiting classes. Now, the South Carolina native gets his opportunity to lead a Division I program of his own.
