Because mission begins with a willingness to be sent.
Saint Maximilian Kolbe embodied a true missionary spirit. He founded movements in Italy, Poland, then left Poland for Japan in 1930 because of his desire to bring the world to Christ despite not knowing the language. St. Maximilian built a friary and taught at the seminary before returning to Poland in 1939 as the Second World War began.
St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us and the unique missions we’re each called to!
