worth the wait😈✨ (swipe for final score) ~~~ quick story time: both outdoor track season my sophomore year & indoor season my junior year, we TIED as conference champs with another team (what are the odds??!). As some of you may know, we then lost by a heartbreaking ending this indoor season. ~~~ After so many close finishes, this weekend, on May 13th 2023, we won the first ever individual team title in Duke women’s track & field history💙 ~~~ My girls scored points in every event we entered (top 8 score) - from the javelin, to the 100m dash, to the heptathlon. There were SO many incredible performances across the board. I wish I could individually shout everyone out, but just know I’m on a team of badass women who inspire me to be a better version of myself every day. ~~~ As for my race, I finished 4th in the 3000m steeplechase.
