On Sunday July 24, 2022, Emerald Downs held their annual corgi races. 82 corgis gathered in Auburn Wash. to compete in eight heats with 10-11 corgis in each to see who would move on to the championship and win the trophy. Ultimately, “Wrong Way Loki” beat out the rest after running the wrong way the previous year, hence his name. Entry for the race was on a first come, first serve basis until all spots were filled.
