This is cool - the Jr Growlers & we share the indoor facility during the summer season. 🙌 We play 72 games in 76 days so we're still on the road for almost half of the summer. But on days when we want to get some extra reps, we're able to use the indoor facility. This is the same facility our Jr Growlers practice in too. Their schedules do cross over from time to time. The youth who see the big athletes play have something to aspire to 10+ years in the future. Guys that play for the Growlers are some of the top Division l baseball players in the country. They're grinding in front of pro scouts with the hopes of advancing to professional baseball. The MLB drafts roughly 600 to 615 players across 20 rounds every year - this accounts for about 0.5% of high school senior boys playing baseball. It's so important for these young athletes to know what hard work looks like & we're grateful that they get to see future versions of themselves in the Jr Growlers facility in the summer 🙌 #kalamaz...
